About the Role
Boardroom Appointments is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Western Cape warehouse operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of night shift operations, including receiving, replenishment, picking, and staging. You will also lead a team of warehouse operators across various night functions, ensuring smooth handovers between shifts and maintaining high standards for order accuracy and loading readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all warehouse operations during night shift, including receiving, replenishment, picking, and staging
- Ensure smooth handover processes between day and night shifts
- Monitor and report on night shift performance, highlighting risks or delays
- Lead, supervise, and develop a team of warehouse operators across various night functions
- Monitor staff attendance and timekeeping
- Address team issues and motivate for peak performance
Requirements
- Grade 12 and computer literacy
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand Afrikaans and English
- Minimum 3 years experience in warehouse supervision or night shift leadership in a logistics environment
- Experience in chilled and frozen warehouse operations
- Proficient in WMS and MS Office
- Valid forklift or pallet jack licence is advantageous
Qualifications
- Grade 12 and computer literacy
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand Afrikaans and English
- Minimum 3 years experience in warehouse supervision or night shift leadership in a logistics environment
