About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in the Western Cape region. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for processing and administering payrolls for various clients, ensuring accurate and efficient management of employee data and benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and administer contractual, weekly, and monthly payrolls for multiple clients
- Utilize payroll software such as Sage, Vanilla, or VIP to manage payroll data
- Manage electronic Time and Attendance (T&A) systems and daily reporting on absenteeism
- Handle payroll queries and administer personnel leave and rotation schedules accurately
- Ensure accurate and efficient onboarding and termination administration on the payroll system
- Reconcile payroll accounts and benefits administration, including EMP201, EMP501, and IRP5 submissions
Requirements
- Completed Matric with 3-5 years experience in processing and administering payrolls
- In-depth working knowledge of payroll software such as Sage, Vanilla, or VIP
- Understanding of the technical workings of the system
- Background managing multiple contractors with long and short-term contracts
- Knowledge of renewal and termination processes from an administrative and payroll perspective
