Western Cape: Project Manager posted by Communicate Finance

• Manage the full lifecycle of HVAC projects, with a focus on VRV, VRF, and DX systems
• Plan, schedule, and monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
• Coordinate site activities, resources, materials, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
• Prepare, track, and manage project budgets, including costing reports and forecasts
• Assist with claims, pricing variations, and identifying commercial risks
• Work closely with the Head of Projects to achieve profitability targets
• Accurately read and interpret HVAC drawings, specifications, and technical designs
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with technical and quality standards
• Communicate with clients and consultants for inspections, approvals, and project commissioning
• Provide regular updates on project progress, costs, and potential risks
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including site instructions and QA checklists
• Lead project meetings and ensure all close-out documentation is completed and submitted

 
Skills and Experience:

• Over 5 years’ experience in delivering HVAC projects
• Solid understanding of mechanical drawings, installation methods, and system commissioning
• Knowledge of SANS regulations, OEM standards, and HVAC installation best practices
• Experience working with leading HVAC brands
• Proficient with Excel, MS Project, or other project tracking and management tools

 
Qualifications:

• Trade qualification or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Project Management.
