About the Role

Hire Resolve’s Client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Clerk to join their team at their accounts firm in Sunningdale, Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert accounting support and guidance to clients and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and draft Annual Financial Statements using Draftworx
  • Conduct Independent Reviews and compile related reports
  • Perform detailed analysis and interpretation of Financial Statements
  • Provide support and guidance to junior clerks in resolving queries
  • Engage with existing and prospective clients through meetings and consultations

Requirements

  • 46 years of proven experience in an accounting role
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Honours degree is an added advantage)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced level)
  • Working knowledge of Sage and Xero accounting systems
  • Familiarity with Draftworx software (beneficial)
  • Background in audit processes and procedures
  • Completion of SAICA/SAIPA articles (advantageous)

No formal education or certifications are required for this role.
