Hire Resolve is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Foreman / General Engineering Supervisor to join our prestigious client’s mining team in Mpumalanga. As the Senior Foreman / General Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all engineering operations at the mining site. This includes supervising the maintenance and functionality of equipment, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and oversee all engineering operations at the mining site
  • Ensure the efficient functioning and maintenance of equipment
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Implement and monitor compliance with safety regulations
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Manage and develop a team of engineering professionals

Requirements: 

  • Grade 12
  • Minimum N3
  • Electrical or Mechanical trade certificate
  • Flameproof certificate
  • Gas testing certificate
  • Certificate in management will be an advantage, and
  • Valid drivers license
  • Minimum of 10 years experience on underground Inbye machines, and
  • Minimum of 5 years management or supervisory experience
