About the Role
Fusion Personnel is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Associate to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our litigation department, you will be responsible for leading complex cases and disputes, both internally and externally, and providing strategic guidance to clients on legal matters. Your expertise in alternative dispute resolution, administrative law, and tax law litigation will be invaluable in driving business outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations and write reports
- Engage clients professionally and critically analyse matters
- Handle complex cases/matters independently, demonstrating expertise in relevant legal areas
- Deliver high-quality work under pressure
- Collaborate with public and private sector professionals to achieve business objectives
- Provide leadership and management skills to junior team members
Requirements
- Admitted attorney with a valid practising certificate
- Minimum 9 years plus PQE
- Right of appearance in the High Court
- Robust leadership and management skills
- Extremely well organized with excellent follow through
- Enthusiasm for the development of our junior professionals
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated
- Multi-task and effectively prioritize competing demands on time and attention
Qualifications
- Admitted attorney with a valid practising certificate
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) or equivalent qualification
- Matric certification (if applicable)
