Key Performance Areas:
– Commercial litigation experience;
– Alternative Dispute Resolution experience
– Administrative law and Insolvency and business rescue law
– Tax law litigation
– General civil litigation
– Conducting investigations and writing reports
– Experienced in working with public and private sector
– Ability to deliver good quality work under pressure
– Ability to engage clients professionally and to critically analyse matters
– Handle complex cases/matters independently, demonstrating expertise in relevant
legal areas
– Strong business acumen and ability to translate legal risk into business decisions.

Minimum Requirements:
– Admitted attorney with a valid practising certificate
– Minimum 9 years plus PQE
– Right of appearance in the High Court
– Robust leadership and management skills
– Extremely well organized with excellent follow through
– Enthusiasm for the development of our junior professionals
– Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
– Entrepreneurial and self- motivated
– Multi-task and effectively prioritize competing demands on time and attention
– Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as required
– Ability to work independently and capacity to work with other professionals including
non-legal professionals
– Ability to communicate and function in a culturally diverse environment
– Ability to review and understand complex legal documents under strict deadlines
