About the Role
Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled Surveyor to join our client’s team in the construction industry. As a Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in conducting accurate surveys to ensure project accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct land surveys to determine property boundaries and establish legal boundaries
- Measure and map construction sites using surveying instruments and equipment
- Collect and analyze survey data
- Prepare accurate reports for project managers and engineers
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project accuracy
- Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment
- Supervise and train junior surveyors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 2-3 years applicable experience in civil services and infrastructure
- Measurable knowledge with regards to SABS 1200
- Proficient in using surveying instruments and equipment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
