Job Summary
We are seeking a proven Support Administrator to join our Operations team and contribute to success across functions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role is responsible for maintaining and updating systems, providing operational support, and serving as a key liaison with both sub-contractors and customers.
Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to) :
- Oversee all data preparation, input and collection for the project
- Support and train customers to utilize Ontec systems and products, including monitoring, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Actively participating in solution design, testing, and training.
- Get involved to deliver on contractual deliverables and outcomes
- Assist with defining system hardware and software specifications and configurations.
- Design, implement, upgrade, test, and troubleshoot solutions, systems, and applications at Ontec and customer locations.
- Define and maintain system standards, reliability, and performance requirements for Ontec production operations.
- Recommend hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades.
- Administer and train customers to administer production systems and applications, and document configurations and procedures.
- Maintain data integrity and file system security for the customer environments.
- Work with internal and external customers, vendors, and other support technicians to determine and implement adjustments to achieve optimum system performance.
- Document, report, and track problems to appropriate vendors, sub-contractors, or departments.
Requirements
Key Requirements:
- Relevant qualification will be considered.
- Knowledge of a variety of different tasks in a system of operations, together with the need to vary the tasks according to the changing demands of the job.
- Previous experience with electricity vending and reading systems will be beneficial.
- Minimum of 3 years’ related experience, some of which local government support
