About the Role
Join Hire Resolve’s client, a leading player in the mining industry, as a Payroll Supervisor. This role is key in ensuring the precision and timeliness of payroll operations while supervising a dedicated payroll team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise payroll processing for all mining personnel, ensuring accurate and timely payments
- Lead and develop a team of payroll specialists, providing mentorship and guidance
- Ensure adherence to relevant labor laws and company policies
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve any discrepancies swiftly
- Prepare and analyze payroll reports to enhance process efficiency
- Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary adjustments
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field
- 5+ years of payroll experience, preferably in the mining industry
- Strong knowledge of SAP payroll systems
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid Driver’s License
