Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile and analyse investment performance, risk, and compliance reports.
- Automate and improve reporting processes using data-driven tools.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly client reports, Regulation 28, and Annexure B compliance reports.
- Maintain and review client reporting databases and investment models.
- Prepare economic and market updates for client distribution.
- Perform quantitative analysis and support ad hoc research projects.
- Contribute to software specification and development aligned with analytical needs.
- Ensure data accuracy and quality through routine checks and validations.
Requirements:
- University degree in Investments, Statistics, Economics, or Mathematics. CFA or studying towards it is preferred.
- 2–5 years’ experience in investment performance and risk measurement.
- Advanced Excel skills (macros/VBA experience advantageous).
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct, and investment accounting systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred:
- Background in the investment or pension fund industry.
- Experience with Style Analytics and investment reporting tools.
