Job Summary
Hire Resolves client in the Engineering industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Mechanical and Fire Engineer in Centurion.
Responsibilities:
- Designing mechanical and fire systems for building services projects.
- Conducting site surveys and assessments to gather relevant data.
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure the integration of mechanical and fire systems with overall building design.
- Performing calculations and simulations to optimize system performance and compliance with regulations.
- Preparing technical reports, specifications, and drawings.
- Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and fire systems.
- Providing technical support during the construction phase and addressing any issues that arise.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Engineering, or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the building services industry, with a focus on mechanical and fire engineering.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and fire modeling software.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to mechanical and fire systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
