Job Summary
This role is based in Springs, Johannesburg East.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, calculate, and accurately capture payroll data.
- Update and maintain employee records on the payroll system in line with approved changes.
- Ensure payroll processes and controls are consistently followed.
- Print and distribute weekly/monthly payslips.
- Handle first-line payroll queries efficiently and resolve cases within agreed timelines.
- Maintain organised payroll filing systems.
- Capture and audit leave records.
- Participate in projects or initiatives within the Shared Services Centre.
- Provide support to internal customers and ensure service excellence.
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies and delegated authority frameworks.
- Perform ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
- Matric.
- Payroll Diploma or Certificate.
- Proven experience in payroll administration.
- Knowledge of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
