Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with Marketing Campaigns: Help plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns across digital, social media, and traditional channels. Content Creation: Create marketing materials such as social media posts, ad copy, brochures, newsletters, and presentations. This may also include updating website content and managing social media accounts. Market Research: Conduct research into customer trends, behaviors, and competitor activity to inform marketing strategies. Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing community events, sponsorships, and promotional activities. Data Analysis: Analyze campaign performance and customer data to provide insights and report on results. Brand Support: Help maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials and channels. Administrative Support: Complete administrative tasks related to marketing projects, including scheduling, reporting, and coordination with internal teams or external vendors. Client Liaison: Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements, preferences, and budget. Develop customized event proposals and ensure all client expectations are met or exceeded. Event Planning: Oversee the entire event process from concept to execution, including setting objectives, timelines, and action plans. Venue and Supplier Coordination: Research, select, and negotiate with venues and suppliers (such as caterers, decorators, and technical support). Manage all logistics, including setup, décor, and audiovisual needs. Budget Management: Prepare and manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure events are delivered within financial constraints. Team and Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise event staff and volunteers. Delegate tasks and provide clear briefings to ensure smooth operations. Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events through various channels, reach out to potential sponsors, and manage advertising efforts. On-Site Coordination: Oversee all event operations on the day, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the event runs smoothly. Legal and Compliance: Ensure all events comply with legal, health, safety, insurance, and risk management requirements. Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event analysis, gather feedback, and prepare reports to assess success and identify areas for improvement. Skills Requirements: Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), basic knowledge of content management systems (CMS), familiarity with social media platforms, event management software and digital marketing tools for planning and communication. Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret marketing data and provide insights. Creativity: A creative mindset with an interest in brand storytelling and innovative marketing ideas.
