Job Description
Identify, secure and acquire new business opportunities to meet sales targes
Converting leads into sales, using a prioritised and consultative approach to ensure clients have the best product and channel mix to benefit
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients & partners
Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies
Support strategic planning and sales forecasting
Assess client expectations. Match and explain the benefits of using the service to potential new clients and referrals, provide relevant support material and follow up to convert clients to sale.
Proactively lead new clients through the sales process of setting up, demonstrating product use, testing and using the service to agreed quality standards.
Provide additional information and advice as required to optimise the product use for clients.
Report on all communication with clients and partners via CRM system to keep accurate records and ensure seamless customer service.
Report customer complaints and feedback to Management
Work within a team environment where you will be expected to clearly communicate, collaborate, co-operate and advise team members.
Requirements:
Grade 12
A formal qualification will be an advantage
Previous sales experience, preferably in the hospitality field.
Experience with selling payment gateway tech would be an advantage.
Extensive experience using hospitality PMS systems
Technical ability to demonstrate product
Valid drivers license & own transport
Excellent active listening and strong time management skills.
Charismatic personality with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of the sales process and dynamics, as well as the drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities.
Ability to gauge and understand clients’ needs and manage the onboarding process for new clients.
Maintain a positive attitude and focus on client satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
