Johannesburg: RB 16980 – Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer (Manufacturing) – East Rand

Employer Description Our client is in the manufacturing industry. Job Description Reporting to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager, You will lead and manage the electrical and instrumentation team. Responsible for electrical and instrumentation, safety systems, maintenance, and repairs of electrical equipment. Playing a key role in asset care development plans and taking lead on electrical and instrumentation scope of work on projects. Qualifications BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering Skills A minimum of 5 years experience as a Control and Instrumentation Engineer within the manufacturing or FMCG environment, pulp and paper manufacturing experience will be advantage. Experience in MCC and specification LV and MV reticulation. Understand local standards SANS, OSHA and Electrical Knowledge of Siemens, Rockwell Automation/Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi PLCs and associated hardware would be advantageous. Ability to troubleshoot and maintain DCS database, software and configuration of Siemens PLCs or similar systems. Knowledge of Fieldbus and Industrial Communication protocols such as Profibus DP/PA, Profinet and Ethernet/IP would be advantageous. Prior experience in Control and Instrumentation procurement, installation/construction. A valid drivers license & Own Transport
