Job Description The Senior Claims Negotiator is responsible for managing the full claims process for commercial short-term insurance claims from registration through to settlement. This role requires sound technical knowledge, analytical ability, and a client-service mindset to ensure fair, efficient, and timely resolution of claims in line with company policy and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Matric (Grade 12) essential Short-term Insurance qualification advantageous Skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in claim assessment FAIS compliance advantageous Minimum 10 years experience in commercial claims within the short-term insurance industry Strong administrative and organisational abilities Deadline-driven with the ability to prioritise workload effectively Assertive communicator with sound interpersonal and negotiation skills Analytical thinker with the ability to make sound, evidence-based decisions Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel Fluency in English and Afrikaans required Benefits Annual Cost to Company: Negotiable, based on experience Pension scheme Group life insurance Performance-based bonus
