Gauteng: Project Manager (Finance and Operations) posted by Network Finance

We’re looking for a skilled Project Manager (Full finance function as well as operations) to lead the implementation and optimisation of key business systems across finance, operations, and production. This role is ideal for a solutions-driven individual with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management for system implementations, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
• Deploy and optimise systems related to job costing, inventory management, warehousing, ERP, payroll, and timekeeping.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Production, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales) to identify needs and ensure smooth adoption.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and timely system delivery.
• Analyse current workflows, recommend process improvements, and enhance operational efficiency and traceability.
• Develop training materials and facilitate user training for seamless system transitions.
• Design and implement Power BI dashboards and analytical reports to drive data-based decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company quality, safety, and governance requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration.
• CIMA qualification advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing/ mining environment (preferably a plant).
• Proven experience implementing ERP and warehouse management systems.
• Strong understanding of production costing, materials flow, and data integration tools (Power BI, SQL).
• Syspro (or alternatively SAP exposure)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
