A leading name in the logistics and distribution sector, based in Johannesburg, is looking for a Data Analytics Specialist to support strategic decision-making and improve performance across the organization. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with large data sets, developing dashboards, and translating complex information into clear business insights.

• Define key performance indicators and develop dashboards that make operational performance visible and actionable.
• Analyse data to identify performance gaps and recommend practical improvements.
• Translate business problems into data-based solutions and clear recommendations.
• Work closely with IT to ensure data accuracy and availability.
• Consolidate analytical best practices across teams and regions.
• Support decision-making with clear, evidence-based insights.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in data analytics or a similar role.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Strong communication skills; able to present findings clearly to various stakeholders.
• Collaborative approach with experience in cross-functional environments.
• Commercially focused and results-driven.
• Prior experience in logistics or distribution is an advantage.
