Stellenpak is a well-established fruit packing and cooling enterprise in Paarl, serving a niche market segment in the fruit industry. The company currently has the following 3 machine operator positions available for hardworking individuals:

• LABEL PRINTER OPERATOR
• AUTO PACKER OPERATOR
• JUMBLE FILLER OPERATOR

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate and monitor the relevant machine according to applicable specification
• Minimise downtime, spillage, and fruit damage
• Ensure correct labelling of cartons and bins, and that packed cartons meet required count, weight, and pattern standards
• Monitor machine performance and promptly report any issues to supervisor/manager
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, hygienic and safe work environment at all times
• Perform reasonable tasks as requested by management

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 10
• Minimum 1 year of packhouse experience
• Needs to live in or nearby Simondium
• Computer experience will strengthen the application
• Skilled in operating packing machinery
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills in Afrikaans and English
• Ability to work under pressure
• Hardworking, goal-oriented, and eager to learn
• Attention to detail
