Johannesburg: Automation Engineer

Our client is part of a larger group of companies and is seeking a DMA Automation Developer to design and implement cutting-edge automation and AI-driven solutions. Youll be working closely with business teams, IT, and stakeholders to build scalable, intelligent systems that align with the groups vision. Key Responsibilities: Analyse processes across departments to identify automation opportunities. Design, develop, and implement automation using AI and modern development tools. Maintain and update automation scripts and ensure system reliability. Train, deploy, and monitor machine learning models to optimise business processes. Collaborate with business units and IT to integrate automated solutions seamlessly. Communicate automation strategies and results to stakeholders. Provide system support: Software updates, patching, testing, and troubleshooting. Continuously research, propose, and apply improvements to automation practices. Job Experience and Skills Required: Qualification or professional background in Automation, IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements in automation systems. Strong understanding of AI techniques and emerging automation technologies. Hands-on experience with automation tools, scripting, and system support. Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, tools, and best practices. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
