Job Title: Business Development Executive Department: Sales & Business Development Reports To: Head of Sales / Sales Director Location: Head Office (Gauteng – Roodepoort) Employment Type: Full-time Permanent Closing Date for Applications: 31 January 2026 Purpose of the Role To aggressively drive revenue growth by hunting new business, expanding the client base, and ensuring long-term client relationships that secure the company remains sustainable and market-leading. Key Responsibilities Drive sales by sourcing new clients, liaison with existing customers, generate new business to ensure company longevity: Lead Generation – Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking and outreach to potential clients Client Relationship Management – Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure long-term engagement and satisfaction Sales Strategy Development – Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve individual and team targets, focussing on acquiring new clients and expanding market presence. Market research – Analyse industry trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies and identify growth opportunities Proposal and Contract Negotiation – Prepare business proposals and negotiate contracts with clients to secure favourable terms and conditions. Collaboration – Work closely with internal sales teams, including marketing and product development teams, to align strategies and enhance service offerings Skills Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills Analytical skills for market research Strategy Development Personal Characteristics Emotional Self Control: ability to keep one’s needs and emotions under control. Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Skills / Personal Characteristics / Other Requirements Grade 12 or relevant NQF4 equivalent. Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Business Admin, Marketing and related field Proven experience in business development, sales or related field is essential, with a track record of achieving sales targets
