Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a Junior-Intermediate Ab Initio Developer to join their team and take charge of implementing robust Data Integration and Governance Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Ab Initio Graphs for complex data integration and transformation workflows.
• Onboard source systems onto the Metadata Hub, supporting Data Governance capabilities such as data lineage, metadata management, and reporting.
• Build, update, and maintain Metadata Hub reports to enhance governance processes.
• Design and implement Data Quality (DQ) rules using Ab Initio Express IT, aligning technical solutions with business requirements.
• Assist in writing SQL statements to support data quality rule results in Qlik Sense reporting.
• Track technical lineage from business terms to physical attributes, ensuring consistency across all data pipelines.
• Collaborate with Data Governance teams to refine metrics, thresholds, and workflows.
• Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on Metadata Hub and Data Governance best practices.

Requirements:

• A degree in IT or an equivalent qualification.
• 2-5 years of IT experience
• Experience in Ab Initio, including Express IT, Metadata Hub, and Control Centre for job automation and scheduling.
• Strong skills in SQL, Data Modelling, and YAML configuration.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
