Job Description

Minimum Requirements: Must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Creditors Clerk in the FMCG | Manufacturing Environment Experience in Retail Sales within the Food Industry advantageous Grade 12 | Relevant qualification required Experience in full Creditors function | Bank reconciliations | Payment processing | Account payable record management Proficient in Odyssey | Pastel | CHEP Valid Driver’s License and own Transport required Contactable references and payslips required Salary Structure: Market related salary based on experience (Only suitable candidates will be shortlisted and contacted within 14 days)

Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve statement discrepancies Process supplier invoices using SAGE and NAV Match invoices to statements and AP ledger Handle supplier queries and provide remittances/proof of payment Follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely processing Process and reconcile credit card transactions weekly Prepare supplier payments in line with company policies Ensure VAT compliance on all invoices (SARS regulations) Support month-end and year-end close processes Maintain and follow up on open purchase orders Skills & Experience: Experience in a similar position for about 5 years Qualification: Matric Connect with us on

Job Description

Key Responsibilities Process and reconcile creditor invoices and monthly statements. Collaborate with the production team to follow up on orders and obtain Proof of Delivery (POD) documents. Digitally store and manage financial documents for Debtors, Creditors, and Bank processes. Assist with debtor invoicing and follow up on store SAP/GRN numbers. Collect and process PODs from transport companies to ensure accurate billing. Perform cashbook processing and reconciliations. Process credit card statements and transaction slips accurately. Requirements Matric (Grade 12) essential. Proficiency in accounting software (Pastel experience highly advantageous). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills for internal and external coordination. Must have a valid drivers license and own reliable transport. This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-driven individual looking to grow their finance career within an established and innovative manufacturing environment.

Job Description

Our Client has an open position available for a Creditors Clerk to start on 1 February 2026. What are we looking for? We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets: Key performance areas Processing and payment of invoices Reconciliations Cash book processing Fixed asset register balancing Processing of journals Qualifications, experience and skills Certificate in finance (minimum). Diploma in finance would be advantageous.? Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Creditors Clerk or in a similar accounts payable role.? Experience in accounting to trial balance will be advantageous.? Experience working on Pastel Evolution is advantageous.? Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.? High degree of accuracy and attention to detail; committed to producing quality work.? Experience in operating spreadsheets (e.g., Excel) and accounting software.? Proven ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines and prioritise tasks.? Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify issues and initiate corrective action.? Professional, ethical conduct and adherence to Curro’s code of ethics; a clear criminal record is essential.? Personal commitment to education and a willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the school.
