Role Responsibility: Effective management of sales and marketing in the business unit (Pretoria) Proven sales record of selling services and sales ad on’s and inter-locking products. Identification of potential new business opportunities through consultation and cooperation with operational team, planned prospecting, hotly following up on leads, cold calling, and own network / database of contacts. Arrange and conduct meetings with new and existing business prospects, in conjunction with operational team with a view to tailor creating integrated solutions to compliment manned guarding teams best suited to the client Conduct / arrange site surveys to identify risks and develop appropriate solutions to meet client needs (guarding and assistance from the security tech team) Prepare and submit sales proposals / tenders to prospective clients. Prepare and conduct sales presentations (advanced MS PowerPoint and MS Excel essential) Effective performance of Sales and Marketing administrative functions Co-ordinate public relations activities, company sponsored events, and the control and distribution of corporate gifts and branded items Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on regional Sales and Marketing activities Preparation and submission of monthly report to Management Reports to include accurate information on new and lost business, organic growth etc. Keep abreast and advise management of sales activities, competitors, and client needs. Asset and Equipment Management Ensure company vehicles and equipment are properly maintained Attend monthly reviews with the Regional Manager to report on business development 4. Stock Control Liaise with warehouse to ensure stock availability and resolve queries Support consignment stock processes when required Monitor customer buying trends to assist with stock forecasting Manage stock rotation and replenishment Monitor claims stock and help customers manage stock levels and mix 5. Compliance Operate within set controls and procedures to uphold company standards Report risks and areas of concern to management Promote compliance with relevant regulations to prevent waste or irregular expenditure 6. Customer Service Maintain effective relationships with customers and colleagues Resolve customer issues professionally and promptly Liaise with internal teams to ensure customer queries are followed up Deliver product and pricing presentations and training to customers Support accurate customer data management Provide customers with marketing materials and training on claims procedures 7.
