About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to spearhead all sales activities in and around Hoedspruit. You’ll be the primary point of contact for Safari Lodges, Mines, and Farms in the region, driving business growth through relationship-building, product knowledge, and strategic selling.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, trustworthy relationships with Safari Lodges, Mines, and Farms across the Hoedspruit area.
- Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities, including cold calling, on-site visits, and targeted follow-ups.
- Manage all sales-related administration, including:
- Processing orders
- Issuing accurate billing and invoices
- Ensuring timely delivery and follow-up
- Capture and report on sales performance, profit margins, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company professionally at all customer interactions, maintaining brand integrity and service excellence.
Requirements
- Previous sales experience, ideally in FMCG, retail, or supplying to hospitality, agricultural, or mining sectors.
- Able to work independently: excellent self-discipline, motivation, and time management.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling order/billing processes.
- A valid driver’s license and readiness to travel extensively within the region using the company vehicle.
Salary & Benefits
- Base Salary: Very Competitive Market related salary paid monthly.
- Commission: 25% of profit on all sales transactions.
- Vehicle: Company bakkie provided, including petrol for work-related travel.
- Upon successful completion of the probation period, the company may contribute to your Medical Aid Insurance.
