Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced T2 Engineer to join our team in Midrand, responsible for delivering Collaboration, Directory, Security, and Datacentre services. As a key member of our IT Operations Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective resolution of incidents, requests, and problems, while maintaining high service levels and adhering to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day delivery of Collaboration, Directory, Security, and Datacentre services
Ensure that all incidents, requests, problems, and changes are dealt with according to agreed procedures, processes, and tools
Demonstrate excellent leadership, time management, and organizational skills
Troubleshoot 2nd line technical issues for several technologies including Microsoft 365, Azure, Datacenter services, Security, and Email-related problems
Implement and design Hypervisor cluster environments (Hyper-V, VMWare)
Manage public cloud IAAS offerings
Solidly understand datacenter-grade technologies such as Backup toolsets, Virtualization technologies, Storage, & Vulnerability management

Requirements

Familiarity with 2nd line troubleshooting for several technologies including Microsoft 365, Azure, Datacenter services, Security, and Email-related problems
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and other office management tools
Experience with implementation and design of Hypervisor cluster environments (Hyper-V, VMWare)
Solid understanding/management of public cloud IAAS offerings
Solid understanding/management of datacenter-grade technologies such as Backup toolsets, Virtualization technologies, Storage, & Vulnerability management

Qualifications

MCSE 2016/2019 Microsoft 365 Enterprise Admin Expert certification (beneficial but not required)
Microsoft Azure Administrator associate certification (beneficial but not required)
