About the Role
Zecutive Consultants is seeking an experienced Energy Management Engineer to join our team in Gauteng. As a key member of our energy management solutions, you will assist in designing, developing, and implementing project solutions for industrial, commercial, and mining clients. With a strong background in engineering and experience in energy management analysis and optimization, you will play a critical role in promoting the company’s values and demonstrating high standards of ethical behavior.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of energy project solutions.
- Interpret energy consumption analysis reports, identify optimization needs, and report on results.
- Propose interventions based on results.
- Develop PFD and P&ID plans using Visio software.
- Develop site layout plans.
- Carry out site visits/audits on regular intervals.
- Operate, maintain, and fault find existing project infrastructure to ensure system functionality and project performance.
- Manage contractor supervision on-site.
- Manage the installation and commissioning of new equipment on-site.
- Develop quality assurance plans and implement them.
- Develop operational and maintenance procedures based on unique features of each project.
- Provide project management services for approved projects, monitoring performance post-implementation.
- Ensure health and safety procedures and standards are implemented and maintained.
- Supervise site dedicated personnel.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in energy management engineering.
- Experience in a project management capacity (advantageous).
- Knowledge of mining construction sites’ requirements and regulations.
- Basic understanding of electrical and instrumentation equipment application to monitor site parameters.
- Strong computer literacy and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Qualifications
- BSc/BEng Chemical/Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree or higher (non-negotiable).
- MEng Chemical/Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree or higher (advantageous).
