(Senior Leadership | Deal Origination | Capital Deployment | Real Estate Investments)
A leading institutional investment organisation, recognised for managing one of the continents most sophisticated and diversified asset portfolios, is seeking an accomplished property investment executive to drive high-value deal origination and transaction execution within its Property Investment Division.
This role is aimed at a seasoned dealmaker with a proven record of structuring and closing complex property investment transactions across development, acquisitions, disposals, debt and equity instruments.
Purpose of the Role
To originate and develop a high-quality pipeline of property investment opportunitiesranging from direct developments to acquisitions, disposals, debt funding structures and indirect investmentsand to ensure the successful execution of these transactions to deliver fee income, capital growth, rental returns and overall portfolio performance.

Honours Degree in Finance, Investment Management, Property or Real Estate (NQF 8)

Property Law and/or Sales Certification or Diploma

FAIS RE5 (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)

1012 years experience in property investment transactions

Minimum 5 years in Senior Management, with leadership of deal teams

Postgraduate qualifications (MSc Real Estate, MBA, CFA, CA(SA)) will be an advantage
Key Responsibilities

Lead origination and screening of new, high-value property investment opportunities
-
Conduct feasibility analysis for acquisitions, disposals and portfolio optimisation

Oversee deal structuring across equity, debt and blended financing

Prepare and present compelling investment committee reports
-
Drive acquisition and disposal processes in line with investment strategy

Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, partners, developers, financiers and industry stakeholders

Identify value-accretive opportunities and lead negotiations to close transactions

Oversee an effective pipeline management processincluding deal status tracking, board reporting and governance compliance

Maintain deep market intelligence to drive competitiveness and identify emerging opportunities

Ensure rigorous risk assessment across all transactions
