About the Role
Faircape Health, a division of the Faircape Group, is seeking an experienced and energetic Beauty Therapist to join our team as an Independent Contractor. We are looking for a passionate therapist who can provide a range of professional beauty treatments to residents within our Healthcare Centres, as well as to village residents based on referrals. Key Responsibilities
- Providing manicures and pedicures
- Performing facial and body massage treatments
- Offering lash and brow treatments
- Operating confidently in a clinical environment, including providing treatments in residents’ rooms or at bedside where required
- Managing your own appointment schedule based on resident requests
- Delivering an exceptional salon/spa experience to all clients
- Responding to and providing feedback on resident queries, complaints, and compliments
- Staying up to date with new products, treatments, and service techniques
- Supplying and maintaining your own equipment, materials, and apparatus
- Managing your own stock levels in line with daily appointments
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Beauty Therapy
- Proven experience working within a beauty establishment or managing your own business
- Previous experience working with elderly clients would be advantageous
- Strong product knowledge to ensure correct treatments for various skin types
- Own professional products
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen attentively to client needs
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Patient, compassionate, and detail-oriented approach
- Strong time management skills
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Beauty Therapy
Salary & Benefits
- Please note that this will be a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with an independent contractor with Faircape Group.
