About the Role
Kew Foundries is seeking a highly skilled HR Practitioner to join our team. As an HR Practitioner, you will play a critical role in implementing and managing HR policies and procedures, handling recruitment and selection processes, conducting employee onboarding and training programs, managing employee relations and resolving conflicts, overseeing performance appraisal and management processes, ensuring compliance with labour laws, regulations, and MEIBC Agreements, maintaining employee records and HR databases, providing guidance on HR matters to employees and management, and implementing and managing all disciplinary/procedural matters associated with employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage HR policies and procedures
- Handle recruitment and selection processes
- Conduct employee onboarding and training programs
- Manage employee relations and resolve conflicts
- Oversee performance appraisal and management processes
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and MEIBC Agreements
- Maintain employee records and HR databases
- Provide guidance on HR matters to employees and management
- Implement and manage all disciplinary/procedural matters associated with employees
Requirements
- Minimum educational requirement: Grade 12 (Std. 10) with Mathematics
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or Labour Law or related field
- Proven experience as an HR practitioner or similar role
- Proven experience dealing with IR issues
- Previous dealings/exposure to MEIBC preferred
Qualifications
- Minimum work experience: 5 years working experience in a unionised Manufacturing Environment after completion of tertiary qualifications (preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Problem solving ability
- High level of confidentiality and integrity
