About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client’s fully remote finance team, supporting a portfolio of US-based and international entities. This role is responsible for end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger management, month-end close, reconciliations, and audit support. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working independently across time zones in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. Strong NetSuite experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries to the general ledger
- Own and execute month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform detailed balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Conduct variance analysis and investigate discrepancies
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial records
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Prepare internal management reports and supporting schedules
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities where required
- Provide clear explanations of financial movements to non-finance stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong practical knowledge of GAAP (cash and accrual accounting)
- Proven hands-on experience with NetSuite (mandatory)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations)
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, US-aligned working environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
