About the Role

Our client is hiring a Trainee Accountant to form part of a dynamic team providing accounting, tax, and general advisory services to a client portfolio. The role involves assisting managers with accounting and regulatory requirements while building strong client relationships to exceed service delivery expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger reconciliations and prepare trial balances
• Prepare and maintain fixed asset registers
• Assist with ad-hoc accounting tasks
• Submit VAT returns and reconciliations for review
• Follow up with clients to ensure payments are made

Requirements

• Completed Matric with Accounting and Mathematics (university exemption), and Enrolled in a BCom degree or equivalent accounting qualification with the intention of completing SAIPA articles, or
• Completed BCom degree or equivalent and ready to commence SAIPA articles
• Proficient in Afrikaans and English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Qualifications
