About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is currently seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer/Technologist to join the consulting industry in a challenging and rewarding role in Bloemfontein. As a Civil Design Engineer/Technologist, you will be responsible for designing and managing civil engineering projects for various clients in the consulting industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement civil engineering projects according to client requirements and industry standards
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Design municipal water and sewage infrastructure
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Between 5 to 10 years of post qualification experience in civil engineering
- Proven experience with the design of municipal and sewage infrastructure
- Professional registration with ECSA is beneficial
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, IDAS and other design software
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
