About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Cost Accountant in Gauteng. As a key member of our finance department, you will assist with product and customer costings to support accurate pricing decisions, while gaining practical experience in inventory valuation and landed cost calculations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with product and customer costings to support accurate pricing decisions.
- Analyse material usage, variances, and waste to improve operational efficiency.
- Review and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and standard costs.
- Gain practical experience in inventory valuation and landed cost calculations.
- Support profitability and margin analysis for management decision-making.
- Collaborate on financial reports, modelling, and performance insights.
- Develop a broad understanding of finance functions through exposure to the full finance team.
Requirements
- BCom Financial Accountancy degree (available to start January 2026).
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic production environment.
- Proficient in Excel; experience with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central is advantageous.
