About the Role
A leading industrial solutions provider is seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer with strong technical expertise in lubrication systems, industrial bearings, and fabricated engineering components. The successful candidate will focus on selling specialized engineered products and solutions into the mining industry, driving business growth and supporting clients with reliable, high-performance maintenance technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell lubrication systems, bearings, and custom-engineered fabrication products to mining operations.
- Conduct site visits to assess clients’ needs and identify improvement opportunities.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution proposals.
- Identify and secure new business in the mining sector.
- Build and grow long-term relationships with maintenance, engineering, and reliability teams.
- Manage sales pipelines, forecasts, and reporting.
Requirements
- NDip / BTech / BEng Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
- Mechanical trade qualification is advantageous.
- 35 years technical sales experience in mining or similar heavy industrial sectors.
- Lubrication systems (manual or automated).
- Industrial bearings.
- Fabricated engineering components.
- Established relationships within mining maintenance or engineering departments is a strong advantage.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
