About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Android Developer to lead their innovative team in pushing the boundaries of mobile technology. As a Centurion, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining advanced applications for the Android platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform
  • Work with modern Android development tools, including Kotlin, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose, and the Android SDK
  • Implement architecture patterns like MVVM to create scalable and maintainable apps
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve application performance
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience working on Native Android mobile development (Compose and Android SDK preferred)
  • 3 years of experience in leading the design and architecture for complex Android applications
  • Experience with Java/Kotlin, including co-routines, observables, live data, flows, and streams
  • A proven track record of making key technical decisions and setting development standards
  • Mentorship experience, guiding and uplifting other Engineers in the team
  • Strong communication skills to effectively articulate technical vision and trade-offs
