Job Description

Executive Housekeeper – Lodge in Namibia – Namibian Nationals Only Purpose of the Role To lead and manage the housekeeping department, ensuring immaculate presentation of guest rooms and public areas while maintaining luxury standards and operational efficiency. Important Information This is a live-in role at a remote safari lodge Accommodation and meals provided while on duty Roster cycles discussed during interview stage Roster cycles and leave structure will be discussed during interviews Weekend, public holiday, and peak-season work is required Key Responsibilities Oversee daily housekeeping operations across rooms, public areas, and back-of-house Set and maintain luxury cleanliness and presentation standards Manage housekeeping budgets, stock control, and procurement Train, lead, and motivate housekeeping staff Conduct room inspections and quality audits Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance teams Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards Requirements Minimum 35 years experience in a senior housekeeping role (luxury lodge/hotel preferred) Strong leadership and organisational skills High attention to detail and quality control Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, linen, and equipment management Advantageous Diploma in Hospitality Management or Hotel Operations Leadership or supervisory training Training in luxury brand standards or QA auditing
