About the Role
Our client, a leading company in the steel industry, is seeking an experienced Internal Technical Sales and Ops Executive to join their branch in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Logistics and freight forwarding, with experience working with foreign countries such as Namibia, Congo, Mozambique, and others.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Marketing to both local and foreign clients
- Processing customer invoices, checking on pricing and quantities of supply/stock to ensure fulfilment of orders;
- Management of operations and ensuring SLA’s are adhered to
- Ensure excellent customer service at all times
- Add value in the supply chain by engaging with suppliers
- Processing of supply invoices for payment
- Debt collection
- Occasional travel to client meetings
Requirements
- Matric Certificate
- Tertiary education would be advantageous
- 3 sales and marketing experience, preferably within the steel industry
- 5 years of operational experience, preferably handling steel products
- Operationally minded
- Bilingual – preferably French or Portuguese
- General knowledge of debtors and strong numerical skills
- Knowledge of freight and logistics
- Drivers Licence and own vehicle

Salary & Benefits
R40 000 – R45 000 CTC per month (slightly negotiable)
