About the Role
Profile Personnel, a well-established automotive plant based in Durban, is seeking a qualified and experienced Property Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will lead projects related to properties, manage company-owned properties on behalf of the landlord, and explore green technologies in utilities and utilities management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage properties for the division
- Plan and control expenditure within annual budget (Repairs and Maintenance, Capital Expenditure)
- Ensure that facilities meet all required internal and customer standards
- Ensure compliance to internal procurement and financial standards
- Manage and control the security function for the division.
- Develop and implement the Energy Efficiency Programme for the division
- Plan, implement and monitor energy saving projects
- Perform engineering reviews of production/maintenance
- Assist business units with Maintenance Engineering Methodology
Requirements
- Matric or a school leaving certificate
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
- Building inspector/Property Management certificate
- At least five years experience within a similar role
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
