About the Role
Persona Staff, a POPIA-compliant recruitment agency, is seeking an experienced Stock Administrator to join our team in the Western Cape. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate management of stock levels and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities
- Support weekly stock takes and coordinate planned and ad hoc stock count schedules
- Prepare, distribute, and file stock take batches and documentation
- Process daily stock write-offs and maintain accurate stock records
- Identify, investigate, and resolve stock discrepancies and queries
- Maintain stock query sheets and ensure timely resolution of outstanding issues
- Provide regular feedback and reporting to the Business Analyst on stock trends and risks
- Assist with updating stock recipes, allocations, and product information
- Compile stock audit trail data and assist with reporting and analysis
- Import and communicate daily price updates
- Support procurement-related stock allocations and product tracking
- Drive continuous improvement and system enhancements within stock processes
Requirements
- Previous experience in stock administration, inventory control, or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator with a proactive mindset
- Proficiency in MS Excel and stock-related systems
