About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Engineering Manager to join our team in Western Cape. As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for leading maintenance strategies, managing projects, and ensuring plant reliability and operational efficiency. With at least 5-10 years of experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment, including senior engineering leadership roles, we are looking for a seasoned professional to drive the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and implement maintenance strategies to ensure plant reliability
  • Lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve manufacturing performance targets
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and clients
  • Conduct site audits and identify areas for improvement

Requirements

  • Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering degree or diploma (NQF 6)
  • Government Certificate of Competency (GCC)
  • At least 2-3 years of senior engineering leadership experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment
  • Proven expertise in engineering leadership, maintenance strategies, and project management
