? ASSISTANT FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER ? LUXURY PRIVATE ISLAND | CARIBBEAN ? Sun; sea, barefoot luxury and a next-level hospitality career. Kendrick Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an exclusive Luxury Private Island in the Caribbean for a talented and energetic Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join its world-class hospitality team. THE ROLE Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will play a key role in delivering seamless, personalised, and memorable dining and beverage experiences across the island. Key responsibilities include: * Assisting in managing and leading the Food & Beverage team * Training, mentoring, and developing team members * Being hands-on and guest-facing, driving exceptional guest interaction * Creating memorable, fun, and personalised guest experiences * Staying up to date with food, wine, cocktail, and service trends * Supporting stock control, inventory management, and cost controls * Ensuring high service standards across all outlets and events * Building strong working relationships with other departments * Remaining calm, resourceful, and solutions-driven in a dynamic island setting ? THE IDEAL CANDIDATE * Minimum 3 years experience in a high-end resort or luxury hospitality supervisory/management role * At least 1 years experience in a leadership or people-management capacity * Proven background in 5-star or luxury resort environments * Strong knowledge of beverages, wines, cocktails, and mocktails * WSET Level 2 (or similar) preferred * Experience in stock control and inventory management * Training experience advantageous * Confident, hands-on leader with excellent guest engagement skills * Highly organised, detail-focused, and calm under pressure * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Flexible, energetic, and adaptable with a genuine sense of fun * Valid drivers licence required THE PACKAGE * Competitive salary * Up to 10% annual bonus * Minimum 12-month contract (subject to work permit approval) * Paid annual leave plus bank holidays * Accommodation and food allowance provided * Flights to and from the island * Annual flight allowance * Medical cover * Included in the island gratuities pool * And quite possibly the best commute in the world ? ?
