About the Role

An established and reputable dental practice in Hartenbos, Western Cape, is seeking a motivated and dedicated HPCSA-registered Dentist to join their team as a locum while their current dentist is on maternity leave. This locum position will run from April 2026 until the end of July 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care and treatment to patients of all ages.
• Perform routine and complex dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, crowns, bridges, and root canal treatments.
• Conduct thorough oral examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care.
• Collaborate with dental assistants and support staff to ensure smooth workflow and excellent patient care.

Requirements

• HPCSA-registered Dentist (or eligible for registration upon completion of community service).
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
