Job Description

Qualified Mechanic required for a company based in East London

Seeking a skilled and qualified Mechanic to maintain, service, and repair go-karts and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience in welding.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, service, and repair go-karts and engines.
Perform routine maintenance and safety checks.
Conduct MIG or TIG welding repairs on kart frames and components.
Ensure all karts meet safety and performance standards.
Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
Provide quick turnaround on repairs to minimize downtime.

Requirements:

Qualified Mechanic (Trade Test/Relevant Certification) ESSENTIAL
MIG or TIG welding experience ESSENTIAL
Previous mechanical experience in motorsport, automotive, or small engines advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
