A medium-to-senior level Receiving Supervisor is required for a busy, high-volume retail / wholesale operation based in Newcastle.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all receiving activities, ensuring stock accuracy, supervising receiving staff and maintaining operational controls. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervise and coordinate daily receiving operationsManage receiving clerks and casual staffVerify delivery documentation and stock accuracyInvestigate discrepancies, shortages and damagesEnsure compliance with internal procedures and controlsLiaise with suppliers, logistics and internal departmentsMaintain receiving schedules and workflow efficiencyEnforce safety, housekeeping and security standards Interested applications are requested to submit their updated CVs (in Word.doc format) via email using Ref # 2433 Grade 12 (Matric)Min 35 years experience in retail receiving / stores supervisionThis role requires proven supervisory experience within a retail or supermarket receiving environment.Basic computer literacy (retail systems adv)Exposure to retail POS / ERP receiving systems (adv)Strong leadership and communication skillsAbility to work shifts and retail hoursHigh attention to detail and accountabilityClear criminal record + Traceable and contactable referencesNewcastle residency / relocation preferred
