About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client, a niche payment systems and MIS system consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Functional Consultant to join their team based in Rivonia, Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering Oracle HCM Cloud solutions to clients, leveraging their expertise to drive business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather business requirements and translate them into Oracle HCM functional configurations.
- Configure and support Oracle HCM Cloud modules, including Core HR, Absence Management, Payroll, Talent Management, Performance Management, and Recruiting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
- Participate in the full lifecycle of Oracle HCM implementations and upgrades, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, training, and support.
- Provide expertise on Oracle quarterly releases and new features, ensuring smooth adoption and minimal disruption.
- Prepare functional documentation, including configuration guides, test scripts, and user training materials.
- Troubleshoot functional issues, recommend process improvements, and maintain data integrity across HCM modules.
- Ensure compliance with local legal and regulatory HR requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience as an Oracle HCM Functional Consultant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud applications, including Core HR, Payroll, Talent, and related modules.
- Proven experience with Oracle HCM implementation, support, or upgrade projects.
- Solid understanding of HR processes, compliance, and industry best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
