About the Role
Our client in the Retail Industry is seeking a Night Shift Supervisor to join their team. As a Night Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Fisherman’s Deli during late hours.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure Fisherman’s Deli is properly cared for
• Manage to treat all staff and customers with respect
• All managers to ensure that the freezer map corresponds to the physical stock
• Make sure that the freezer and chiller doors are kept always closed
• Print open purchase orders report
• Must know how to do pallet receiving schedule
• No stock to be received without an invoice
• All IBT’S an fresh fish must be checked and signed by two managers
• All non-stock that is received i.e. oysters, mussels, clams and exotic cheese
• Must be labelled with the name of the customer as well as the salesperson who ordered it
• When receiving cheese ensure that the products have at least 3 weeks shelf life
• Airport collection procedures must be always adhered to
• Print GRN summary
• Reconcile all receipts against the summary report
• Sign of GRN summary if correct
• Send email to Operations Managers and Buyer if any supplies have not been received with reasons and corrective actions.
Requirements
SKILLS:
• Matric and speak English and Afrikaans fluently
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a night shift supervisor position.
• Must reside in Randburg area or within a 25km radius
• Computer Literate and use own initiative
• Must be willing to work independently and be punctual
