About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused Functional Medicine Doctor to join our prestigious aesthetic clinic in The UAE. As a key member of our team, you will integrate functional medicine principles with aesthetic practices to deliver personalized, holistic care that addresses the root causes of health issues while enhancing patients’ physical appearance and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed consultations, including health history, lifestyle analysis, and genetic predispositions, with a focus on skin, aging, and overall aesthetic concerns.
  • Order and interpret advanced diagnostic tests to uncover underlying factors affecting health and appearance.
  • Develop customized plans combining functional medicine with aesthetic treatments, such as anti-aging protocols, skin rejuvenation, and body contouring.
  • Incorporate nutrition, stress management, hormonal balancing, and supplements to improve internal health and outward appearance.
  • Collaborate with aestheticians and other practitioners to optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Utilize knowledge of dermatology, skincare, and advanced aesthetic procedures to complement functional medicine approaches.
  • Offer regenerative treatments (e.g., PRP, peptides) and advise on lifestyle changes that promote youthful, vibrant skin and body.
  • Educate patients on the connection between health, beauty, and wellness, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
  • Provide detailed guidance on preventive measures, including anti-aging strategies and skincare routines.
  • Track patient progress, review test results, and refine treatment plans as needed to ensure long-term satisfaction and results.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all treatments and interactions.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in functional medicine, aesthetics, and anti-aging therapies.
  • Participate in training, workshops, and seminars related to integrative and aesthetic medicine.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification.
  • Certification in functional medicine (e.g., Institute for Functional Medicine or equivalent) preferred.
  • Specialized training or certification in aesthetic medicine (e.g., Botox, fillers, laser treatments) is highly desirable.
  • Valid state medical license.
  • Strong understanding of holistic health, anti-aging, and aesthetic principles.
