About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client in Johannesburg is seeking a Technical Project Manager / Business Analyst to drive successful project delivery and translate business needs into clear technical requirements. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, hands-on technical knowledge, and the ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end technical projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Elicit, document, and validate business and system requirements.
- Translate complex business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Coordinate between developers, stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
- Track milestones, risks, and deliverables using agile or hybrid methodologies.
- Conduct impact analysis, gap analysis, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Maintain documentation, workflows, and system diagrams.
- Support change management and training efforts for new systems/processes.
Requirements
- 35+ years of experience as a Project Manager and/or Business Analyst in tech-driven environments.
- Proven experience delivering software or systems integration projects.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile practices.
- Ability to gather and analyze requirements from both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, MS Project, etc.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Technical background or understanding of APIs, databases, cloud platforms, or CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) is highly advantageous.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, CBAP, Agile/Scrum, Prince2) are a plus.
