About the Role

Our client is seeking a Business Development Executive & Account Manager to drive revenue growth across infrastructure modernisation, virtualisation, HCI, hybrid cloud, secure access, and cybersecurity services in Johannesburg. This role requires someone who excels in technical discovery, solution selling, and building relationships with senior IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business across mid-market, enterprise, and public-sector clients
  • Sell solutions including:
  • Infrastructure & datacentre modernisation
  • Virtualisation & compute
  • HCI (hyperconverged infrastructure)
  • Hybrid cloud architectures & workload mobility
  • End-user computing & secure digital workspaces
  • Cybersecurity: EDR, MDR, XDR, vulnerability management, email security
  • Secure access: ZTNA, SASE
  • Lead structured technical discovery conversations
  • Collaborate with technical teams on demos, PoCs, scoping, and solution design
  • Build strong vendor, distributor, and channel partner relationships
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to account management
  • Maintain CRM discipline, forecasting accuracy, and consistent sales activity

Requirements

Strong experience selling infrastructure, virtualisation, HCI, datacentre, cloud platforms or cybersecurity solutions. Ability to engage senior IT stakeholders and lead technical value-based conversations.
